We are Supernatural’s Silent Majority. We are fans who have trusted the show for years and are upset by what we’ve seen as a decline in quality and loss of the Sam and Dean story. We have every right to get our opinions heard.

This is a space intended for those opinions. Unhappy with the direction of the show this year? Wondering what happened to the Winchester Brothers’ story?

You are not alone.

Want to do something about it? Join us in the cause to get our voice heard by writers and producers NOW, while Season Eight development is still underway. Show them what you care about.

• Arguments, debates, or ship wars.
• Character bashing, hate, or vitriol. 
• Attacking showrunners or other fans.

“Silent majority.” You keep using those words, I do not think they mean what you think they mean.

And Operation Trenchcoat wasn’t okay but this is? Shocker.

Yeah, Cas fans aren’t real fans, we’re betraying the entire fucking fandom and dishonor on all our goats if we dare to exercise our freedom of speech and let the writers know that we want them to keep Cas around (because whenever WE want something omg, how dare you, this is their show, how dare you tell the writers what to do?!), but when they want the ‘brotherly bond’ reaffirmed (as if it even needs to be - these are the fucking Winchesters, ffs) and basically want Sam and Dean spot-welded to each other at the hip for the entire season (no matter how boring it is and no matter how much the actors themselves are getting bored/frustrated/exhausted by it), it’s magically THE FANDOM/’silent majority’s show again and, hence, they’re happy to ignore all that to suit themselves.

Also - whoever is running that hot mess still hasn’t explained why the entirety of the season, when everything was going exactly the way THEY WANTED IT TO (ie. all Sam and Dean, tons of filler), they were pleased as fucking pickles.  But then, suddenly, everything goes horribly wrong - because of the finale, where Cas and Dean get booted into Purgatory minus a moose.  

You’re seriously going to have to explain to us why/how Cas (a fictional character) is responsible for Sera Gamble (a real human being)’s bad writing ruining the show - because he was in s6 and I didn’t hear any of this ridiculous ‘oh, he’s coming between them’ bullshit back then.  Your excuses and justifications for this absurd stance make ZERO. SENSE.  So either start talking sense or expect people to dismiss you as the bullshit artists you obviously are.

The term silent majority is usually code for noisy minority. Heh, I know this since I’m part of one!

I don’t get this. Yes, the show isn’t as good as it was in, say, S4 or S3, THAT WAS WHEN THEY HAD A PLANNED SCHEDULED PLOT. After Erik Kripke left, THEY DIDN’T KNOW WHERE TO TURN THE SHOW, so they experimented, that is SERA GAMBLE’S FAULT, not Castiel’s. And I’m sorry, but if they actually ditch Cas, then they’re going to bump themselves down the ladder a few more pegs, because he can serve so many purposes, and his relationships with Sam and with Dean could make an amazing part of S8. ‘Silent Majority’, as you can see from the comments, it appears you’re actually a minority, you might wanna change your name. 

So let me get this straight: you are the only ones who can complain? You can threaten the writers, accuse them of being homophobes, boycott the show, vote against the show, spam the fuck out of twitter, tumblr and livejournal, bully everyone who disagree with you, be obnoxious and blind, but when others, politely ask for better storylines for ALL characters, we get jumped on? and you have the nerve to call US hypocrites? You have the freedom to express yourselves, but the others just have to suck it up? Uh…doesn’t work that way, sorry. Ignore it if you don’t like it, but don’t accuse people of something you yourselves are guilty of. It ain’t pretty to see. And for the love of God, learn to read, try to spend five minutes and read the actual words written…in plain English.

I’ve… been in since halfway through S4. :| And I’m really tired of the fans I’ve seen over the years, “IT SUCKS NOW BUT I’M A TRUE FAN SO I’LL KEEP WATCHING.”

I’m just as big a fan as you are. I just don’t like feeling like crap about myself. /anyway
